Dr. Peter Fischer, Founder, Fischer Group International
Peter Fischer grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and has thus long been acquainted with the mechanisms that drive organizations and the people within them. He later concentrated on university-level research (serving as an academic assistant specializing in organizational development and intervention methods), practiced as a psychotherapist (spending much time working with families) and ultimately founded his own consulting company. He recognized "leadership transition" as a key issue in organizational development and success very early on in 1990 - and developed programs for supporting such transitions. Dr. Fischer expanded his consulting group in 1994-95, integrating professional programs for supporting change management.
1998 was the year of international expansion, including formation of partnerships in the U.S.A. The group has been in the second phase of internationalization, transition into a global provider, since 2005. Peter Fischer is now purposefully and consistently working with clients far beyond German borders.
